I am attempting to use Chrome's internal speech to text engine but it is picking up from the wrong input. I can run Pulseaudio's pavucontrol app, click on the recording tab and change it but the only time the widget appears is while Chrome is recording and the widget disappears the second the chrome window loses focus. Is there any other way to do this?
