Once samba is installed and you have shares open it is always launched. It just takes some configureing to do. Best samba configuration tool I have yet to use is webmin a little overkill but a great tool.
Great... I need cups and samba running. I think that cups starts automatically but I don't think samba does.... or will once I get the hard drives and install it. (I ordered two refurbished drives last night for a total of 27 dollars) Could someone write a script for me that will start samba when I start the computer, and tell me which directory to put it in?
