I&#39;m doing my research to find one of these online and I am unsure of the search terms. What exactly should I enter to find one in which I can insert and remove standard desktop hard drives? Would it be 5.25&quot; enclosure or 3.5&quot;?<br>

As you all know my hard drive is no more and all of my spares are kaput as well. I was thinking that instead of an internal hard drive I would get an external one. Then, I could always have my computer with me:!) I have a NetVista computer. Do any of you know if I will have a problem booting from an external hard drive?  When I initialy boot and press F-12 it goes into boot media order and says that removable media is in the boot order so I suppose it&#39;s all good.
