I just completed a virus scan with avast and it says there is nothing there. I don&#39;t know if I should believe it though. When I run a scan from a website it says there are things on the system and then I need to purchase their product to clean it. I don&#39;t know if I should believe them either. Who should I believe?<br>

Well, I&#39;m moving to Lima, Peru in April (to be with my wife and baby) and my Windows laptop just has virii galore in it (I think). I need a new laptop! If I could bring my desktop computer I would but I don&#39;t think they would consider it a carry-on if I did. I hate to be a beggar but does anyone have a spare one I could have? Or perhaps someone could clean it for me. I have avast! installed on it (and I installed after a fresh system install) but that hasn&#39;t seem to help at all.<br clear="all">
