The more you add and remove the cooler from the MB the harder it is to work with. I wonder about the intel engineers sometimes, this is really the best they could come up with??
Okay, I see what my problem was even though it was turned it wasn't turned all the way where the round top part fit into the notch. I took a pair of pliers and turned it and the push pin freed.
