Last
time I voted at my local
precinct, they had no such accessibility options available. I
had to grab
2 polling place members (one demo, the other rep) and have one
of them
mark the sheet while the other witnessed. they would read me
the various
points on the ballot and I would indicate what i wanted
marked. its
worked well, but took 2 people off the line.
so far, I have been unable to find a ballot template that
would allow me
to mark the appropriate place on the ballot without
assistance.

I may have to make a point with the election system in
this state anyway.
their current ballots aren't really accessible to the
blind (I usually do
the early voting mail in ballot).
Actually, they are.
Every poling place (at least in Maricopa County) has at
least one voting
machine that has headphones, has braille ballots,
large-type,
touch-screen voting.....and have had for about 4 years or
so, if memory
serves......I am not sure about the other Counties - you
would have to
check with them. I do, however, think that they are
mandated, by
law, to provide them for those who need them.
