My wife and I did a Tai Chi class here in Glendale.  It was through the Glendale Parks and Recreation center at the Foothills Aquatic Center.  I also did a Shotokan Karate class through them as well quite a few years ago.

You might try your city's parks and recreation center.

Does MCC or your local community college have a class? I think ASU offers a class...
