Stephen and X Y,
The special part is that it is not a public event and not a PLUG event.  Mesa Regal is a 55+ RV park with an active computer club.  Eric Shubert, myself and a Linux end user user recently attended an Expo they held.  We manned a Linux table.  We now have 17 people signed up for this installfest for their club.  We did this 2 years ago and installed Linux for 25 people.

X Y,
Since I have no idea who you are, it is hard to know anything abut you.  But if you can help install ubuntu 9.10 as a standalone, dual boot with windows, or to replace an old Linux in a dual boot environment we can use you.  I wil plan on your attendance.  Please tell me if I know you and who you are even if you do that off list.

What's special with this particular fest!!??
If you cannot find anyone else you can count on me, I live in the area.
Please let me know not later than Thursday morning - noon.

Regards!

There will be an installfest on Saturday Feb 13 at Mesa Regal, at 4700 E Main St (Apache Trail) in Mesa, about 1/3 mile east
of Greenfield on the North side of the street:

We will be in their computer room from 8:30 AM till early afternoon.  I believe we have 14 Ubuntu 9.10 installs (mostly dual boots) scheduled and only 3 volunteers.
 - Larry Thiel (me)
 - Eric Shubert
 - Joe Zagar (at least I think he will be there)

I could use at least 2 more people to help.  Dennis Kibbe, Patrick Callahan, Robert Callahan, and JT Moree helped at this event a couple of years ago but I have no idea if they are available this time.  If you can help out, please let me know asap.
