I am going to purchase a laptop in the next week. I have been reviewing all that I could and I have come down to a Thinkpad T500 or a Thinkpad T510. The way I have them configured they run only about 5 bucks difference. I like the higher resolution of the T500, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little resolution for the Core i5 chipset.

My question is this. Have any of you experience with this chipset, and the video that comes along with it?
I know if I buy the T500 I am getting a solid chipset and a great graphics chipset. (I don't game, and only use the basic KDE 4 desktop eye candy)
But the newer i5 graphics (intel HD graphics) are still a little scarce as far as google says with linux reports.

I am only concerned because I need the laptop to work NOW, which the T500 will, but the T510 might not be real stable for a few months, or longer, or could be rock solid now. Any ideas? What are you opinons if you have any experience with either of these machines or other i5 chipsets with the intel HD graphcis.
