Since you don't own land now, doesn't mean you might not in the future. In another sense we do all own land. USA is our land.
 
So we all have the right to vote on property issues.
 
It's not that they have nothing to lose, they have everything to gain as everyone should.

I think only land owners should be allowed to vote on "property tax" and other property related issues. I do not own land but if I did I would find it silly that someone who had nothing to lose could vote to vote on land issues.
