I get a lot of spam too but 99% of it goes to the spam box.... is it the same with you guys?

I would think you should be able to identify the accounts which are getting
the spam.

That makes me wonder, If you configure gmail to pull from other POP/IMAP
accounts, maybe it just pulls whatever is there and does not spam filter it
like it does for directly received mail?
