I might have used the term 'non sequitur' but that I thought that

Well if you don't recognize the moral imperative of preserving
forests, I might suggest it is you who are guilty of being coarse and
unreceptive. Perhaps you can make a totem
pole out of redwood tree
with your likeness at the top? :)
