Short answer: no. Everything on the desktop will probably be accessed via browser, with no software to install.

I think she's asking whether it'll sync with Linux.  The real answer
there is that no one really knows, they haven't said.  I certainly hope
so.  I don't see why they'd break that, but I'd wait for some reviews to
be sure.
