I use the DD-WRT 2.x firmware on my WRT54GL. vlans, qos, all kinds of good stuff i dont even use. I can even export the logs to a syslog server.
I know for a long time Sveasoft wasn't releasing the source for their firmware and I'm not sure if that's still the case of not. Google a little if you're interested in the controversy, it's pretty entertaining. I used to run "pirated" versions of Sveasoft until I learned about Tomato VERY cool software. Completely changes the interface making it all Web 2.0-esque and adds a TON of cool functionality. I set up QoS for various things so, for example, my torrents don't eat up all my bandwidth and my voice/video chats over Skype and SIP work flawlessly at the same time. Ever since I found Tomato, I haven't been keeping tabs on Sveasoft at all.

Many setup Open WRT and Busy Box versions from these tools.
Has anyone played with Sveasoft.com's mods?
