It's a regular creative audigy se card (30 bucks). The thing is though i have my speakers connected to a digital out port (looks just like the regular output). The card itself is not built in.

Which type of digital connection are you using? I too have that card, but there's a separate cable/connector you need to purchase from Creative/SoundBlaster to get a spdif or coaxial connection.GnunixguyOn Sat, Oct 18, 2008 at 12:30 PM, Nadim Hoque <nadimhoque@gmail.com> wrote:---------------------------------------------------Hey
I have got a audigy se sound card and I was wondering how to get digital sound through my speakers. In windows I just select 1 digital output only and the speakers work. I am currently running ubuntu 8.04.1
Thanks,
Nadim
