New Add-on Provides Public Address (PA) Functionality | |
| We are pleased to announce "Instant PA™", a new add-on for Astribank™ that interfaces with any Astribank FXS port to provide public address functionality via Astribank. The small stand-alone unit is activated by simply dialing the port's extension number. Each Instant PA unit is equipped with 2 RJ11 ports. The 'PBX' port connects directly to an Astribank FXS port and the 'PA' connection connects to the PA 'line in' ('audio in') port. The PA device itself can be anything from a standard personal computer speaker with an internal amplifier to an industrial-strength amplifying system. R2 Protocol to be Supported | |
The R2 protocol, popular especially in Latin America, will soon be supported by all our leading products: Astribank, Astribank XR2000 and Astribank XR3000. As a result, we will have full coverage of all common port types (FXS, FXO, BRI, PRI, R2, Input and Output ports) for channel banks and IP-PBX systems for small to very large organizations -- all based on Astribank technology. Our R2 Beta Testing Program will conclude at the end of this month, and then the units will become generally available. | |
