For me it worked just as well with IE 7 as
it did with any of my FF’s or Safari’s. That is to say it just
hangs after loading the header on everything I tried. FF 3 provided the
fastest time out with “The server at 71.36.230.171 is taking too long to
respond.”

In the lower left corner of IE, I saw "Error on Page", and double
clicking it provides the following:

URL: res//ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm
To me, sounds like an issue with DynDNS and how it redirects to your IP address
and its interaction with IE. You are correct though, there's no issues
with your webpage code.
