Hi,<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp; The sound on my fedora 7 system is just not right.. the volume is WAY to muted and there is a noticeable white noise when the volume is turned up. I think the white noise is at least partially related to scrolling on my wireless mouse, but it didn&#39;t do that when I had windows on this machine.
<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp; I really don&#39;t know where to begin, but the sound quality and level really isn&#39;t acceptable. If I can&#39;t fix it, I&#39;ll have to install a different distro.<br><br>Any advice is appreciated.<br><br>
