I am getting more and more request from people who want to dable in MS Projects, and I heard thier was an open/free Projects app. Any one know of any thing?

Preferably it would use MS Projects files.  Or use files that MS Projects could use.  Also, it would be nice if it was Windows an Linux compatable, so I can get people away from MS projects and the horific expenses that it is.
