Yes. The <3 is for the heart. One time my friend said "<3" online after he said "goodbye," so now we say it out loud as "less than three" instead. I wrote a song about it, just for fun, on the front of my Pre-SAT test booklet. I should be getting it back in a couple of months. lol.
