Where were you when I asked about Sabayon?
I posted asking for ops? I tried the liveCD. Liked it, but there were a couple things still a little flaky.
Also, I'm not so familiar with portage as I am with yum & rpm's. I will probably try it again when
they have another release .

This is moving slightly away from your original topic, but if you'd really like to try AIGLX, try Sabayon Linux. It works with both XGL and AIGLX for Intel, Nvidia, and ATi graphics cards. (although I've never gotten anything to work quite right with ATi on Linux, Sabayon Linux included. http://www.sabayonlinux.org

FYI, the FC6 release date has been pushed back until the Tuesday, Oct. 24th.
I would provide a link to the post on fedora-announce, but the their list site is currently
down for maintenance.

It should be up on fedoranews.org tomorrow sometime.

In the meantime, Mandriva One 2007 is working pretty nicely with Xgl. (I'd really like to use Aiglx because
I prefer the implementation approach... but I should just get over that for now.)
