Alan, I might be able to help. I have a php calendar program that I acquired through CVS that has worked very well for my alumni website. If you are interested in getting some info on it I can send you a copy with my changes that have worked very well.

The site is back online!  You will note that the calendar is gone.  I am
looking at calendar replacements but won't get to doing much more until
tonight.
