Meh, just don't take the night shift at IPower if they're still as understaffed as they were in December 04'.

Hi Matt,

There are two places you might want to try.  I don't think they have part-time however I would not rule it out.

I would look at www.ipower.com first.  iPower is hiring all the time for tech support.  A rather small but growing hosting company next to BOB.  - Great place to work! http://phoenix.craigslist.org/tch/131774622.html

Second you could try GoDaddy. Godaddy has a sales requirement and extreme turnover. A difficult place to work, however you can make some good money if you can do light tech and can sell.  The training and experience is good also.  - https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/jobs.asp?se=%2B&ci=293

The third one is www.2wire.com.  They do 2Wire harware support for SBC DSL.  You will have to start as a www.volt.com temp. - search www.careerbuilder.com. or go to the volt site and call volt.  - Tough place to work.

Given your experience anyone of these would work.  And you might be suprised at the pay - I would expect it to be much higher than Payson.  I can tell you it is much higher than what I experienced in Tucson.

Note: I tried sending this before with the title "Phoenix Tech Jobs" im
guessing spamassasin ate it.

Hi, I recently moved down to phoenix and enrolled in Mesa Community
College, I was at the last east side meeting and look forward to
attending the next one.

Anyways, the problem I face isn't a linux one, I need to find a job. :)
I need a part time job where I can work any day except tuesday and
thursday (for class). I have worked for several years as a computer
tech
in Payson Arizona, and recently as a network tech at a small ISP there.
I can support users in most versions of windows and troubleshoot
hardware/software/network problems, I am also good with telephone-based
support.

Since the job market is so different here, can anyone give me any tips
on what kind of job to look for, where are some good places to apply
(preferably in the Mesa/Tempe area), or any other info I should know.

Thanks in advance!
