On TrueNAS all VMs are KVM under the hood. It runs just like you expect. TrueNAS has a wizard you go through to create it, just like VirtualBox, but probably less capable than ProxMox as (I think) that's more comparable to vCenter. TrueNAS has been running my Plex Media server VM for years without any issue. The only reason it's not docker is because I'm using the GPU in the TrueNAS server, which is too big for my Docker server. --- Thanks, Alexander Sent from my Google Pixel 7 Pro On Fri, Jan 10, 2025, 12:33 Keith Smith via PLUG-discuss < plug-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org> wrote: > Hi, > > Anyone using KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) ? > > How does it compare to VirtualBox and/or Proxmox? > > Thanks!! > > Keith > --------------------------------------------------- > PLUG-discuss mailing list: PLUG-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: > https://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss >
