Alexander, Thanks. Mainly I want to interact with it via RDP instead of needing a separate kbd, mouse, and monitor. The VPS I’m using is requires RDP, and I mostly use it for uploading and restarting the service, but sometimes I do a little more. I’ve got several computers plugged into a local switch, along with this new one, and I want it to be easy to update the stuff I’m working on (locally). From the outside, it only needs to expose one public port that's accessible via https as an API that customers running my web app will be accessing (invisible to them) via an encrypted channel. The service itself needs to be able to access a half-dozen other APIs. I can call you this evening, or tomorrow late morning. Any preference? -David Schwartz > On Dec 3, 2024, at 5:33 PM, Snyder, Alexander J via PLUG-discuss wrote: > > Do you have a dedicated firewall?
