I also upgraded to Kubuntu 24.04 about 2 months ago and discovered I could not print to my network printer (Canon D570). The print job would remain stuck in the queue. Poking around in the /etc/cups/printer.conf. It appears cups-browsed overwrites the network printer "DeviceURI" ipp://Canon-D570.local:631/ipp/print" with "implicitclass://Canon_D570/" To fix this I have to reconfigure the printer every time I reboot my desktop. -- Arun Khan
