I'm trying to install snort on to my kali box (my new shiny toy) and I:
wget -O snort-2.9.20.tar.gz
--snip--
tar xvzf snort-2.9.20.tar.gz
--snip--
and I get the error message:
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format.....
duhhhhhh.... check the md5sum.... which tells me it didn't download
correctly so I try again... and again.... again.... again.... again....
again.... again.... again.... again.... it isn't downloading correctly. Any
idea how to get it to download correctly?
