So, I started Friday with this bit of reading...FBI recommends that you keep your IoT devices on a separate network https://flip.it/oNLAtK and thought I would see if my dd-wrt router (ASUS RT_N16) would do this. I then noticed that the firmware was over 2 years old, so I thought, I should upgrade the firmware. Long story short, I may have bricked my router. In trying to get a connection to the newly non-functioning router, I am having some networking questions/issues with my Ubuntu 18.04 laptop from System 76. My question is, can I run the wifi on on domain (192.168.25.x) and my wired connection on another domain (192.168.1.x)? I can't seem to get any response from the router after resetting it, which means it should be available on 192.168.1.1, but I am not sure if it is a router issue or a networking setup issue. I need the wifi on 192.168.25.x so I can peruse the web to try to fix my router. Thanks! Mark
