I have a System76 gazelle laptop driving two displays - the laptop display 1920x1080 is display 2, and a Dell 34" widescreen 3444x1440 is display 1 through an HDMI cable. So far all apps work as expected - start the app in display 1 or 2, and the app appears in the appropriate display at the correct resolution. Except evince, the standard gnome document viewer. This is its behavior: * Click on a document in display 1, and the document opens in display 2, but at the higher resolution so I can't grab the title bar and move it to display 1. * Start evince from the cli in display 2 and the app starts in display 2. However, select a document to open, and it appears in display 1, again too large to drag to display 2. * Open evince or click on a document in display 1, and evince operates properly with all actions completing in display 1 at the correct resolution. I submitted a bug report for evince, but got some push back that this is probably an Ubuntu or System76 issue, and I should file bug reports there. Then silence. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem with evince, or should I just use another document viewer? Thanks! Mark
