I recently bought a Motorola Moto e5 cruise phone running android 8.  Kde connect works on it except for the feature that's supposed to allow for accessing files on the phone from the desktop machine. In Dolphin, I click on the phone and see the internal storage and the micro SD card i added.   I also see folders that say Camera pictures (internal storage) and Camera pictures (SD card) I try the camera pictures folder on the internal storage and I get: The file or folder /run/user/1000/aa7ea069101eb562/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera does not exist. I try the camera pictures folder on the SD card and I get: The file or folder /run/user/1000/aa7ea069101eb562/storage/30303030-2d30-3030-3000-40b6400040b6/DCIM/Camera does not exist. Trying to open the internal storage folder: The file or folder /run/user/1000/aa7ea069101eb562/storage/emulated/0 does not exist. Trying to open the SD card folder: The file or folder /run/user/1000/aa7ea069101eb562/storage/30303030-2d30-3030-3000-40b6400040b6 does not exist. This computer has Kubuntu 18.04 64 bit installed on it. Is this a problem with android 8? I know android gets to be more of a pain in the ass to use with each new version. It seems they're trying to make it so secure that people can't use it.
