Hey, I could always use more education myself. I never did get around to dealing with the RaspBerry Pi here. I was going to use it as a remote SDR machine (there are a couple of cheap dongles with SDR functionality that never would work in windows, so why not in linux using a Raspian based machine?). Anyway, I can still help out if needed. -Eric > On Oct 3, 2018, at 7:35 PM, Stephen Partington wrote: > > I kind of have stuff for you to putter with, but no budget to you. besides part of what I want is to learn it anyhow. > > On Wed, Oct 3, 2018 at 5:24 PM Eric Oyen > wrote: > Hey, these things happen. :) > > Btw, speaking of tech support, does anyone have a need for someone who can manage a few systems? I can bring my own access technology if needed. I am finding myself in a bit of a financial swamp right now (more like I am in over my head) and an extra $500 a month would go a long way toward getting me clear of the issues. The only hitch is how it’s going to affect my disability payments. However, if it turns into a full time position that pays much better than I get now (which is about $10k/year) it could relieve a lot of stress. > > I could work from the telephone if need be. > > Anyway, if anyone has a good idea for this blind technologist, I’m game. > > -Eric > > >> On Oct 3, 2018, at 12:06 PM, Victor Odhner > wrote: >> >> Thanks, Eric. >> >> Your comments led me to follow several angles, but nothing worked.
