I have a Lenovo with similar specifications that we will be using as a demo at the installfest Saturday it is currently running 14.04 host duel booted with windows and several linux guests and windows guests in virtualbox. Feel free to stop by and play with it. current software tools make it easy to convert a hardware os to a Virtual guest.
