The search engine I use is DuckDuckGo <https://duckduckgo.com/>.  (Here's
their privacy policy <https://duckduckgo.com/privacy>.)

In the DuckDuckGo forums <https://duck.co/forum> I've seen suggestions for
email providers <https://duck.co/forum/thread/1593/gmail-alternatives> but
I haven't tried any yet.  I would appreciate advice for this as well.
