If you still have an Apple IIgs: By this time, the floppy drive(s) will refuse to work. The internal power supply needs a simple repair. Built by Sony, I've diagnosed a the single faulty capacitor that all IIgs' have. Inside the PS box on the white circuit board is one very small 1 microfarad cap. It dies first. Re-solder in a new one and the 12 volt supply becomes stable (used for floppy drive I/O). I happen to love those old RGB boxes too. (-: Chas.M. :-)
