Then you can enter: /etc/init.d/network start Reference: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/7.0/scripts/apds18.html /etc/sysconfig/ifconfig contains the list of all the interfaces. Once the network is verified and setup with bridged mode, you need to start OpenSSH /etc/init.d/sshd start /sbin/chkconfig sshd on 3 4 5 And you might also look at your /etc/ssh/sshd_config file to be sure you allow root ssh? Search forward for "Root". Make change and restart sshd /etc/init.d/sshd restart Also, you might add the other server to your /etc/hosts file and /etc/hosts.allow file http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/6.3/server/openssh.html Make sure your directory permissions are good for .ssh and your ssh-keygen is setup as explained in the reference link. >> >> >> On Thu, Aug 23, 2012 at 3:30 PM, Stephen wrote: >> >>> what VM stack are you using what host? >>> >>> On Thu, Aug 23, 2012 at 3:22 PM, Michael Havens >>> wrote: >>> > of course.
