I've always meant to get more into PostgreSQL especially now that Oracle owns MySQL. I do a lot of Oracle related work and when I first saw PostgreSQL's pl/pgsql it shocked me how it looked almost exactly like Oracle's pl/sql. I don't know which came first though. I'm hoping now that Oracle owns MySQL that PostgreSQL gets the kind of attention MySQL did. I'd love to see something on par with Oracle Application Express for PostgreSQL and the tools that made MySQL easy to use:) JD On Tue, Aug 23, 2011 at 08:25, Brian Pottberg wrote: > Hi All; > > We're coming up on 100 registrations for Denver PG Day, and the event is > still more than 10 weeks away (were shooting for 200+). > However we need speakers, call for papers is currently scheduled to end on > Aug 31. > > If you're interested, please submit your proposals via email to > info@consistentstate.com > > More info here: > > http://pgday.consistentstate.com/node/5 > > > Thanks in advance for your help & support. > > /Brian P. > /Kevin K. > --------------------------------------------------- > PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss >
