It also contains a link to a purported workaround: http://sourceforge.net/p/rtmp2rtmpt/home/ which I cannot try as I am now at home (where the port is not blocked). I can't get this R5U870 webcam to work right with Flash anyway. It works fine with Cheese, but ... Anyway, Thanks again.
