List readers, apparently Tim was able to borrow a laptop PC, (see one of the earlier replies) which gets him back on the net, -- at least "temporarily" -- to look for a job -- which was his main concern. I think Tim still needs a job, and a longer-term solution to (fixing or) replacing his own computer. (I think it was the reply from "Josef Lowder" from 1:38 / 1:40 pm) (probably followed by a phone call...) On the subject of the Wed. night Stammtisch, (see http://lists.plug.phoenix.az.us/lurker/message/20100615.220733.7683e781.en.html ), I am leaning towards attending that, Wed. night event, (( http://plug.phoenix.az.us/node/593)), with or without some other passengers in my car, to carpool with. Anyone who is similarly inclined [including Tim Bogart, "if applicable"], is welcome to phone *me *(cell: 623-340-0442) about car-pooling to that Wed night event. Especially if you are coming from (home or work) near the Loop 101, and/or would be willing to meet me somewhere near the Loop 101. In fact, Tim Bogart might be looking for a ride, from somewhere near Cave Creek and the 101, to my area (which is, near 75th Ave. and the 101). If so, and if can get to my house by about 6:30, then both of you (everyone in your vehicle) are welcome to go ["in my car"] the rest of the way to the 7:00 pm Wed. "Stammtisch", in Avondale. -- Mike Schwartz Glendale AZ schwartz@acm.org
