I am sorry to hear of your departure and wish you great luck in Reno :) As for the "off" topic at hand; I am someone who enjoys the OT discussions. However, like Josh, I also not not participate much. I can say I do not participate in IRC because I don't IRC. I don't come to many meetings because I am busy and would genuinely rather spend time with my wife. I do go to some of the Stamtishes and some of the meetings when I can, but, like the list, if they were cold, and intolerant of any socializing and non-FLOSS discussions (like this one) I would participate less.
