Please REGISTER for January HackFest at UAT HERE: http://obnosis.110mb.com/hackfest/?q=node/6 Registration for HackFest labs will include the standard disclaimer, allow us to promote social responsibility and glee for knowledge rather than criminal thinking, while also allowing us to do capacity planning and remind everyone a day or so before each events. I am hosting a fully featured Drupal system that allows calender reminder functions, registration, event submissions, comments, forums, chess, IRC, and podcasting for the HackFest and PLUG community on free 110mb.com. It will provide for regular event reminders, automated security alerts, RSS feeds (which users can configure globally) and file sharing. It is also setup for distributed auth from any Drupal (not sure if Hans allowed access to his PLUG Drupal due to privacy issues and other endeavors hosted there) so if you are registered on another Drupal, the login is honored. Unfortunately OpenID for 5.3 stable was pulled (for security reasons) and 110mb.com doesn't have installation available for 6.x (no command line or support staff). Sharing with Moodle and MediaWiki on the same server are available and configurable, yet not completely designed or torqued yet, but permissions are generous for authenticated users. If you want to use it yet can't do something special let me know. The ecommerce plugins are only partially setup (for donations and professional endeavors for Obnosis) so ignore that section (which will be configured for another subset of Drupal Users) and setup as a Donate Now button -- this is a free non-profit endeavor to support information sharing under Creative Commons License.
