I believe that the live.com server adds them during the Spam Scan process (just like Spamassassin/ClamAv).

Hi,
I was always under the impression that if you used a dedicated client (as oppsed to webmail) it couldn't add the signitures. Or does the server add them when they go through smtp?
 
If so, that's probably kind of shady u_u
