I'm pretty happy with my asus eee :) The distro that comes with it (xandros based) is perfectly fine but I recently loaded mandriva on it and like it. It's a little small to type on but it didn't take me long to get used to it. The other downside is the small screen (800x400). It's perfect for my needs as I can put it in my briefcase. I have a regular laptop but lugging it around was a bit of a hassle. It can take abuse my regular laptop can't since it has no moving parts.
