Happens I watched a video on BeOS this morning about how that OS in its day did an AWESOME job with multitasking even high bandwidth video and audo in multiple windows and on some pretty low end hardware. It was built from the ground up to do that and using pre-emptive interrupts and (I forget the term) multithreading. It was VERY impressive. Of course, M$ did not build it and it did not need to be backward compatible with anything. -- The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasantly surprised. - George F.
