I just found the DAG repositories which are part of the RPMForge network. They directly support RHEL 5 (http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/FAQ.php#A2) It has many packages but does not appear to have the basics like MySQL and Perl. Maybe those are in the Red Hat repositories for no cost despite the Application Stack product? Still looking around... Alan
