Interesting review. I installed it on a 2.3 GHz P4 and spent a little time with it. I must say I am one of those who hate having a dumb splash screen duriing bootup instead of the speeding messages which are ocasionally useful. To my mind, the static splash screen makes the boot process seem slower. I do want to look at the new startup process so if anyone sees a good and understandable explanation of the new methodology please post a link to it.
