hi,

 

i'm new to the group and have been monitoring discussions for a couple of days. looks like this might be the place to solve one of my problems.

 

I'm having soundcard problesm with my laptop

 

i've gotten a lot of advice including recompilling the kernal, but man that just seems like the hard way

 

i found a sound card driver for redhat, so i dual booted red hat on my laptop with everything else i have on here.

 

so i'm wondering if i could get some help installing this driver.
