Every once in a while I my wireless on my laptop goes haywire. I start getting messages in dmesg saying something about how it can’t write a TX description to the BAP (I don’t have the exact error message). What I have to end up doing is shutdown the computer and let it sit for a few minutes, then I can boot it up and start wireless again. Basically I am forcing the wireless card to do a hard reset. Anyone know how to do this without shutting down? I am using the orinoco_pci driver with a Prism 2.5 compatible wireless card in an IBM T30 laptop.
