I don't think they're interchangeable, pretty diff case and everything if I remember right.

I know most of the 6xx latitudes were almost nefarious for dying en masse generation after generation, I've seen/heard multiple companies needing to constantly replace mobo's in them for failures that it got at least one to switch laptop vendors because of it.

The joys of buying "economy" (ie. cheap) enterprise-class laptops, which quickly trickle down to secondary/refurb resale to unsuspecting consumers at what seems like a good price until it dies too.

I wonder if it would work on a Dell D620? I have one of those that works (I think) but the screen is dead.

Or, perhaps we are both in need of a donation drop for laptops? ;)

Hi All,

I have an old laptop that I need to dispose of. I've never had to dispose of a laptop before and want to know where I can properly dispose of this thingI live in N. Scottsdale, so somewhere close by would be great.

BTW, if anyone wants an old, non-functioning Dell Latitude D610, come get it . No charge.
It boots to the the "Dell" screen and freezes. Never gets to the O/S.  Maybe good for parts??

Thanks,
Peter
