1. Thunderbird Email body includes the attachement (keith smith)
 
Thunderbird on the Linux side is pretty straight forward. If you don't allow HTML and only text, it could be the text copy, a vcard or even GPG asc file. I know GMail doesn't allow any executable files through their system.. ah hmmm.... and they will delete them.
