Am 14. May, 2007 schwätzte tuna@supertunaman.com so: moin moin, would someone also mention ( several times ) that Noel Gorelick will be giving an excellent presentation on his work with the NASA Mars programs at the west side meeting next week. This might be the last time we get to see this presentation as Noel is joining Google. ### Topic: Linux in the Mars Rover Program, "How I use free software" Noel Gorelick, Software Manager for the Mars Space Flight Facility at Arizona State University will give a presentation on how Linux is used to support NASA's Mars Rover program. ### Noel gave this presentation at the east side meeting several months ago. Definitely one of the coolest presentations we've ever had. Really unique and interesting materials helped significantly, but Noel did a great job on top of that. He covered several aspects of the programs he's worked on as well as his Google Mars project and some of the discoveries that have been made via the Mars programs. One of the discoveries he covered showed up in Nature after he made the presentation. Please encourage people to attend this meeting as it's just really cool from a popular science perspective. ciao, der.hans > I would just like to show you this coupon on the Leap's website... > > http://www.leapsfrozencustard.com/1173996.html > > There.
